# Sign-in and security

> Sign in, reset your password, and protect your account with two-factor sign-in.

Your Bridge app account can create API keys and change where money goes, so keep it safe.

Sign in with your email and password. If you were invited by a teammate, open the invitation email and follow the link to accept it and set your password.

Forgot your password? Choose **Forgot password** on the sign-in page. We'll email you a link to set a new one.

## Turn on two-factor sign-in

Two-factor sign-in asks for a code from an authenticator app every time you sign in, as well as your password.

**1. Open your account settings**

Go to **Settings → Account → Security**.

**2. Scan the code**

Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or 1Password.

**3. Enter the code**

Type the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.

**4. Save your backup codes**

You'll be shown a set of backup codes. Store them somewhere safe. Each one lets you sign in once if you lose your phone.

## Passkeys

You can also add a passkey under **Settings → Account → Security**, so you can sign in with your fingerprint, face, or device PIN.
