Bridge is an API that moves money between fiat currencies (such as Nigerian naira, Ghanaian cedi and more) and stablecoins (such as USDC, USDT). You connect your app to Bridge once. After that, your customers can:
  • Buy stablecoins with fiat. Known as onramp.
  • Sell stablecoins for fiat paid to a bank account or mobile money wallet. Known as offramp.
You don’t need to hold stablecoins, talk to banks, or manage liquidity. Bridge handles that, and tells you what is happening at every step.

What you can build

Onramp

A customer pays in fiat and receives USDC in their wallet.

Offramp

A customer sends USDC and receives fiat in their bank or mobile money wallet.

How to read these docs

The pages are in the order you’ll need them. If you’re new, read from top to bottom:

How it works explains the steps every payment goes through.
2

Make your first payment

The Quickstart takes you from zero to a test payment in a few minutes.
3

Set up your account shows you how to create API keys, allow your servers, and add webhooks in the Bridge app.
4

Know the rules

Before you build lists the currencies, limits, time limits, and versions you need to know about.
5

Build the full flow

Core flows, Webhooks, and Errors cover everything your integration needs to handle.

Two environments

Each environment has its own API and its own Bridge app. Read Sandbox and live to learn how they differ.
