Every time a payment moves to a new step, we send a message to that URL. This page shows how to set one up. To learn how webhooks work, read How webhooks work.

Add a webhook endpoint

1

Open Webhooks

In the Bridge app, go to Webhooks and choose Add endpoint.
2

Name it and add the URL

Give it a name, for example Payment notifications, and enter your URL. It must start with https://.
3

Choose the events

Pick the events you want to receive. You can pick all onramp events, all offramp events, or specific ones. See the event list.
4

Save and copy the secret

Save the endpoint. Open it to see and copy its signing secret. You’ll use the secret to check that messages really come from us. See Verify webhooks.

Send a test message

Open your endpoint and send a test ping. We send a test.webhook.ping event to your URL so you can check it’s reachable.
The endpoint must be subscribed to the test.webhook.ping event to receive a test. Otherwise you’ll see the message This endpoint does not support the 'test.webhook.ping' event.

See every delivery

Open an endpoint to see every message we’ve sent to it: the event, when it was sent, the response code from your server, and how many times we tried. You can filter deliveries to find a specific payment.

Reset the secret

If your secret has leaked, open the endpoint and choose Reset secret. The old secret stops working straight away, so update your server with the new one at the same time.

Update or delete an endpoint

Open the endpoint to change its URL or events, or to delete it. Once deleted, we stop sending messages to it.
